Alexandra Álvarez

Alexandra Álvarez is a Venezuelan artist and entrepreneur based between Jersey City and New York. She creates a deeply spiritual visual universe where identity, cultural memory, and ancestral worldviews converge. Through a vibrant palette and energy-charged symbols, her work explores the duality between the visible and the invisible, the earthly and the divine. Inspired by her experience as a mother and migrant woman, Álvarez transforms painting into a process of introspection, healing, and connection with the sacred. Her paintings feature chromatic richness and intricate patterns, intertwining mysticism with personal and collective memory. She has exhibited internationally and recently received an Honorable Mention from the Monmouth Museum for Sacred Yopo. Álvarez is also committed to community-building through cultural events and art programs.
